  1. Welcome aboard!
First, don't attempt to make this a Daily Blog. You'll kill yourself looking for topics to satisfy the insatiable appetites of your readers. Pace yourself.
It's killing me and I dont get any sleep anymore.

Second, Look for topics outside of the Freeman. The limited personnel and narrow scope of the reporting will give you the same diminished perspective as the general readership. Diversify.

Third, Don't believe anything Blaber tells you.

There you have it. I look forward to seeing your posts!

  2. Welcome to the blog world.

I am looking forward to seeing what you have to offer.

Additionally, I am very excited to see your push to build the Independence Party in Ulster County. This State, Country, and even little ol'e Ulster County could really use a strong third party to shake up "politics as usual" around here.

    Good luck

  3. Through no fault of your own, I am sure, the hosts of KCR-92 AM announced your arrival at 7:30 am and neglected to announce you were not in the studio after commercial break. Deliberate or not, I wanted to call in with a question but realized five minutes into the next segment (after 8 am) that you were no longer in the studio. Just an observation. Good luck in your new endeavor with this blog and with your presence on KCR.

  4. I'm sure it was not deliberate. I hope you enjoyed the segment, I'm looking forward to doing more of them. If you have any suggestions or questions, please post them here. Thanks for tuning in! Len

  6. Len,
I look forward to reading your blog. I heard you on the radio this morning. Please forgive me if I misunderstood what you were saying. But I am curious why the state party chairman will be involved in making decisions on local election endorsements. It seems to me that you would be in the best position to endorse candidates who best represent the Independence party.

PS After the way the Republicans treated you when you ran, I would not support any of them. Some of them treated you worse than the Democrats did.

  7. Thank you 6:53, your comments and PS are appreciated. To clarify, the State Party Chairman will be involved in issuing the Wilsons for the cross county race endorsements. The Ulster County Committee will make all decisions for local races.

  8. The Bernardo name and logic seem to have been incompatible. I hope you find some logic. You sure need it!

  9. Good Luck Len. I hope this blog is a place we can go to get the real story. I am pretty tired of the junk that passes for blogs.

  10. I had to read some other posts to get the name of the radio station which is KCR not Kingston Public Radio--where is the logic in not even knowing the correct name of the station? Try not to say "quite frankly" so often because you use it way too much and it becomes a distraction to people like me who obsess on things like that.

  11. Hey Len, you say you are trying to find logic in Ulster County. Can you find out why the County is hiring a fleet manager; didn't we hire someone fitting that title last year?

  12. Start posting topics and give opinions. Plenty out there!

  13. I would have liked to listen to your radio show, Len. Unfortunately, the transmitted, low power signal of the radio station is unable to propagate to this end of the county.

  14. Len: Congratulations- one area that you may want to talk about is the American Promise program- for somem reason- no one but yourself and I appear to be aware of this incredible concept. If you would like me to appear to talk about it- don't hesitate- another topic for discussion is Kingston Area Public Access-

Again- Congratulations to a new blog- and my advice would be similar to Mike Madsens-
    take care

  15. Where was the show Wednesday, March 11th? Nothing on the KCR archive from that date indicating you were on the air. Hoping to be a loyal listener.

  16. Len, are you scheduled for a weekly slot or something? There has been no mention on the KCR webpage nor I have heard them mention it.
